Evernote goes to the Galapagos (and the Amazon)!
One of the biggest reasons that I use Evernote is the ability to quickly organize and document my ever changing life. This summer, my side and I spent two weeks traveling through Ecuador. This included a trip to the Galapagos and the amazon.Before we left, I prepared all of our travel documents in an Evernote notebook. Okay folks, what is my number one reason for using Evernote? Blogging on the go (and yes that image was shamelessly taken from Evernote’s website). Well, that seems counter intuitive since I am writing this in WordPress and I am singing the praises of Evernote for blogging (by way of Postach.io). The plain and simple truth is that WordPress takes a high degree of technical knowledge and time to setup and maintain, and its Mobile App sucks the marrow from life. It is official, I am the Technology Administrator at the Korean International School in Jeju-do Korea. They made an offer I couldn’t refuse! Our experience will be entirely paid for by the school (save for meals and utilities) and I will also draw an American Standard salary (tax free). I will fly to Jeju in mid-August, with my fiance to follow shortly after I travel. Jeju is an interesting place, and one that I am happy to be living for a year. Now to work on my visa applications…

More than 700 educators attend the fair and compete for 1000 placements around the world – from Doha, Qatar to Mexico City. In its own way, the fair is an international feeding frenzy (or better termed a “rat-race” by one of the recruiters) where everyone is jostling for position to get interviews with the best international schools.
